After diving deep into the Rolex/Tudor horological history, I found myself obsessed with story of the California Dial, Kirk Rich, and how Tudor brought it back in the early 2000s. I found this practically unworn specimen with box, papers, recent service, and an untouched bracelet with all links on Chrono24 and knew I needed to pull the trigger. Vintage Panerai watches were not known to have been sent to Kirk Rich Dial for modification to the degree that Rolex and Tudor examples were.
