Just like the original model it was based on, it features not one but two minute tracks around the edge of the dial, both tracking individual . This watch is what you would call an "Alaska Project I" watch, which is easily the rarest Speedmaster around, though it's a watch almost entirely unknown to the general public. The original Alaska Project was cancelled in 1971 after two years of research. The CK 859, for example, delineates the sectors with prominent hour markers. By the (possibly non-watch-nerd) standard definition, the watch has 12 sectors, and they don't have anything to do with rings.
