Top notes are Apple, Aldehydes, Grapefruit and Ginger; middle notes are Lavender, Sage and Geranium; base notes are Tonka Bean, Cedar, Olibanum and Patchouli.
YSL Y Le Parfum Appreciation. Finally completed my sampling/owning of every fragrance in the YSL Y line and Y Le Parfum is the crown jewel. Such a refined, well blended flanker that takes the greatness of the EDP/Live and adds depth and maturity to it.The Y Le Parfum by Yves Saint Laurent opens with a lively burst of fresh apple, its crisp sweetness subtly underscored by the tangy, citrusy grapefruit. The initial fruity freshness is balanced with an unexpected twist of ginger, adding a touch of warmth and spice to the mix. I got Y EDP first and used it almost everyday. The projection was way too strong. I liked the smell but would only wear Y EDP if i wanted to stand out. I recently got Le Parfum in the Y line and it’s so much better (imo).
