I purchased a new spring from Ofrei and although the ref. TI-1504 bracelet clasp on the ref. 2298.80 appears to utilize a spring different than the OP's bracelet, the replacement procedure is identical.
Enter -- the solution. The Omega clasp that comes equipped as standard equipment on two other models: the "reissue" Sea master 300, and the new Speedmaster Mark II, have a "Glidelock-like" sliding ratcheting adjustment feature hidden within the clasp housing.
There are, IIRC, 3 different omega adjustable clasps. 6 position (what the OP is showing I believe), a shorter 3 position (probably what the co-axial speedy has), and a 3 position with divers extension(?).
